Liberty Rebreather TrainingBegin Your Closed-Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Journey with us.
Our TDI CCR programs are designed to train experienced divers in the safe and effective use of closed-circuit rebreathers, with training available on both the Liberty Backmount and Liberty Sidemount units.
The TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver course is the entry-level certification for divers wishing to use a CCR for air or nitrox diving. The course focuses on understanding the benefits, hazards, and correct operating procedures of CCR diving while developing solid foundational skills to a maximum depth of 30 metres / 100 feet, remaining within no-decompression limits.
For those seeking to expand their capabilities, the TDI Air Diluent Decompression CCR Diver course allows planned decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 metres / 130 feet, further refining buoyancy control, bailout procedures, and decompression strategies.
For divers looking to progress further, the TDI Helitrox CCR Diver course introduces helium as a diluent, allowing dives to 45 metres / 150 feet, improving gas density and reducing narcosis for safer deep diving.
Unit Crossover Options: Already certified on a different CCR? We also offer TDI-recognised unit crossover programs for divers who wish to qualify on the Liberty CCR. These follow all unit-specific course standards and skill performance requirements with modified training time as per TDI standards.
Whether you’re beginning your CCR journey or expanding your range, our courses provide the skills and safety foundation needed for real-world rebreather diving.
